Eventually (assuming you play long enough) you'll have enough (legendary) monsters equipped with good runes and you can blast through 5 different opponents and earn your 15 war coins for your team to contribute to the win! When the war is over, don't immediately spend your food, wait until the next war starts and see which monsters will participate in the next war and give them the nice chunk of food you won from the previous war, plus the food that you're constantly growing (you are constantly growing food right? Even if it's a small amount, always be growing food). If all 3 monsters are as strong as they can be, click on your node in the prep phase and click "change monster", at the top of the list will be the next strongest monster in that category, start feeding a "Bravo team", or backup team. They're gonna get their lunch eaten because of those 2 monsters that are weak. I see so many new people in wars and they have a level 100 legendary monster and 2 other garbage level monsters. If you play long enough (or buy gems), you'll have enough legendary monsters that this won't be an issue.Īnother bit of advice, when you join a team that goes to war often, during the prep phase, only feed your monsters that are gonna defend your node (I call them "Alpha Team") and keep them all the same level. You're gonna find yourself in some dungeons with some limitations that leave you with only garbage monsters to play with. Most people only remove level 4 gems to equip level 6 ones, then replace them with level 8, then 8 for 10's.Īnother thing going against you is the new library and dungeon limitations. If you can make it far enough in that dungeon you can get level 3 runes (level 4 if you can beat it!), throw some level 1 or 2 runes on your legendary monsters to get even farther! Word of advice though, once you start equipping level 4 and higher rune, it'll cost gems to remove those gems. Starting tomorrow (and every Wednesday) will be a rune dungeon, you need to try and get as far as you can in it. We have a new maze right now, it's your chance to get 3 different legendary monsters. Stay as low level as you can and the game will reward you with easier mazes to get even more legendary monsters. The breedable ones don't produce enough gold to make them worth stopping at level 50. Get your legendary monsters as high as you can.
